Troy Olson
Troy Olson is co-author, along with Gavin Wax, of the new book The Emerging Populist Majority. With confounding consensus narratives in our media and culture, and building on Donald Trump’s historical upset in the 2016 presidential election, Olson and Wax make the case that the populist revolt remaking American politics is merely at the midfield point. Furthermore, they argue that this revolt is poised to continue long-term, and more recent trends predict that populism will become the major political movement in America for the remainder of the twenty-first century.
Olson is an Army Veteran, a lawyer by training, the Sergeant-at-Arms of the New York Young Republican Club, and co-founder of the Veterans Caucus
Paul Graziano
Paul Graziano is a long-term civic activist, former candidate for City Council, and expert on New York City zoning. He'll discuss zoning and regulation issues, including Local Law 97, which places impossible emissions standards on buildings, including co-ops and condos.
Graziano is a lifelong resident of North Flushing. He attended the University of Massachusetts–Amherst and received his MS in Urban Affairs/Planning from Hunter College.
